Our client who is a global blue chip company has an excellent opportunity for a support engineer.
To be considered for this position you must have 2 years experience in a support role within a global or corporate environment. You will need to be experienced in installing, configuring and supporting Windows operating systems (2000*XP and 2000*2003 server), backup software, citrix and terminal server, active directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP*IP, firewalls and VPN`s. You must have a positive attitude with a drive to exceed, a proven track record and provide a high level of support within high stress situations.
You will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level technical support for all applications. This will include help desk and systems support involving installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading existing applications and technology, backups and disaster recovery plans.
